Gerri Karamesinis is a certified professional photographer,
holds a Master of Photography degree and a Craftsman degree. She is a member of
Professional Photographers of America, Connecticut Professional Photographers Association,
and Professional Photographers of New England. Gerri's unique style and innovative
concepts have earned her a valuable reputation as well as numerous awards including
The Hallmark Award, Fuji Masterpiece Awards, Kodak Gallery Award, and Court of Honor
Plaques. With a background in the arts, Gerri is a strong believer in studying art
and continuing her education. She has studied at the New England Institute of Professional
Photography and the Winona School of Professional Photography in Atlanta, Georgia,
She has lectured and judged in many state associations and enjoys the teaching process
immensely. Like the famous painters of yesterday, she has followed her mentor and
revered friend, Don Blair (internationally renowned photographer and instructor)
for many years and owes much of her photographic abilities to his special teachings.
As a former dance teacher, choreographer and theatrical performer, she is not only
a competitive personality, but an entertainer at heart. Gerri's goal is to make
Karamesinis Photography synonymous with fine portraiture and valued memories in
the making.
